Stud Bolts หรือ Bolts ชนิดต่างๆ ตามมาตรฐาน ASTM A320 Grade B8 เป็นเหล็กสแตนเลส (Stainless Steel) ทีมีความต้านทานต่อสนิม และกรด ด่างต่างๆ  ใช้กับงานที่อยู่ในสถานที่่ ที่มีอุณหภูมิต่ำ โดยอุณหภูมิที่ใช้งานจริงจะอยู่ระหว่าง -250 ~ 100 °C (-418 ~ -148 °F) และเป็นเหล็กสแตนเลสที่ทนแรงดึงสูง โดยค่าความเครียดที่ต้านการยืดออก (ทนแรงดึง) (Tensile Strength) จะอยู่ที่ 125,000 ปอนด์ต่อตารางนิ้ว (psi) (125 ksi หรือ 860 MPa) มีส่วนผสมของ นิเกิล (Nickel) ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติ ที่มีความเหนียว และขัดขึ้นมันได้ดี ทนต่อการกัดกร่อนของกรดและด่าง แต่ไม่ทนต่อกรดเข้มข้น เช่น กรดดินประสิว เมื่อนำนิกเกิลผสมในเหล็กทำให้เป็นแม่เหล็กดีขึ้น  และในส่วนของ โครเมียม (Chromium) ก็จะมีคุณสมบัติที่ทนต่อการกัดกร่อนและทนต่อการสึกหรอ

Stud Bolts or Bolts made of Stainless Steel, manufactured in accordance with ASTM Standard ASTM A320 Grade B8 for rustproof and corrosive resistance.  It is manufactured for used in low temperature service, (operating temperature range -250 ~ 100 °C (-418 ~ -148 °F).  It is manufactured for high tensile strength at about 125,000 psi (125 ksi or 860 MPa.  Compose of Nickel substance enable of toughness and best for polishing, it is also acid / base corrosive resistance, but it is non-resistant for concentrate acid like niter.  Best for electro-magnet when mix with Nickel.  Compose of Chromium substance enable of corrosive & erosion resistance.
